Weekly Log – May 1, 2018

My DH pointed out to me yesterday that as of today, the year is a third done.

That’s depressing in a way.  Depends on how you look at it, I think.  I started off shaking my head, wondering where the year had gone.  Then I did a quick tote up:

  • 4.5 books written
  • Just over 300,000 words
  • Nearly 100,000 words in blog posts and newsletters.
  • As of May 3rd, 5 books published
  • Still paying all my bills.

Not too shabby.

Last week I plotted right up to the end of the week, and broke ground on the new book on Saturday:

SATURDAY:  1,704
SUNDAY:  2,070

Monday, though (yesterday), was a breakthrough day.  I’ll report on that next week, as it rightfully belongs there, and I will also talk about it on Friday.  It was an eye-opener.

Meantime, back to work — all of us.
