Weekly Log – January 26: Recovering

Total for the week: 22,308 words.

It was an okay week. One of the days was used for plotting and another for post-production on the book I finished this week (which is book #1 for the year)–I spent a day of writing time doing the clean up of the book I finished so I could get it off to the line editor and still give them a chunk of time to actually, you know, edit. The release on that book is awfully close.

I also reworked the schedule, did some serious talking and thinking with the rest of the authors at SRP and tried to figure out what the hell was going on with my dropping-off-a-cliff schedule. THe rest of the week was full on focus on a new production schedule, one I’ll talk about in a few weeks once I know how its going.

And to top things off, as I write this, I have a head cold coming on that might yank a day or two out of my schedule. That’s not the end of the world, but it’s just one more thing to deal with on my way back to equilibrium and a sane writing schedule.
